Cordless Window Coverings are Best for Kids’ Safety
Many parents do not know that window covering cords are one of the top five hidden hazards in the home according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). Although it’s a year round job, we can all do our part during October’s National Window Covering Safety Month in the US to help increase awareness of the potential strangulation hazard that exposed window covering cords can present to young children. This year’s theme is What’s Best for Kids – Go Cordless and here are some helpful resources and ways you can get involved below.

- Fasten down any cords in your displays, especially those with a continuous cord loop, by anchoring the Cord Loop Tensioner to the display module and be sure to explain this process to consumers
